A National Reputation for Athletic Training
Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø has a national reputation for athletic training education established in 1975, a status built primarily upon the professional contributions of our graduates and a tradition which is proudly represented nationwide.
The Department of Athletic Training at Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø offers Bachelor and Master of Science Athletic Training degrees.
Undergraduate students interested in obtaining BOC certification eligibility requirements should select our CAATE Accredited B.S. in Athletic Training – Professional Practice program. Students interested in obtaining BOC certification eligibility requirements through our CAATE Accredited Master of Science in Athletic Training – Professional Practice program should select the B.S. in Athletic Training – Pre Professional Rehabilitation Sciences undergraduate track.
The undergraduate requirements can be completed in 4 years or through our accelerated 5 year Bachelor of Science to Master's of Science option. Please inquire with the Department Chair for additional details.
The undergraduate and graduate Athletic Training – Professional Practice programs are accredited by the (CAATE)
Successful completion of the Undergraduate and Graduate Athletic Training - Professional Practice programs leads to candidacy for the BOC certification examination and prepares the candidate for the "sports medicine team" approach to allied health care.
