Lackawanna College Transfer Students
As a Lackawanna C student, you have options when transferring to East Stroudsburg University (Â鶹¹ÙÍø).

Transferring Prior to an Associates Degree
Use the following guides to choose Lackawanna C courses that match equivalent courses at Â鶹¹ÙÍø, or search for requirements of your intended Â鶹¹ÙÍø academic degree program.
- Degree Program and Curriculum Plans - Search for degree requirements, required general education and/or corequisite courses of your intended Â鶹¹ÙÍø degree program based on your intended start year. Please Note: Certain Â鶹¹ÙÍø degree programs may have specific general education or corequisite course requirements.
- Course Equivalency Search - Provides a comprehensive list of transfer course equivalencies that Â鶹¹ÙÍø has established to date with Lackawanna C. If you have identified required general education or corequisite courses when researching your Â鶹¹ÙÍø degree program, you can use the Course Equivalency Guide to identify if Lackawanna C offers the equivalent course.
Associate Degree Transfer Option
You may also choose to complete your associate degree, and then transfer to Â鶹¹ÙÍø. The following agreements outline how your Lackawanna C associate degree transfers to the bachelor's degree at Â鶹¹ÙÍø.
Statewide (P2P) Articulation Agreements - The Statewide Articulation Agreements listed below guarantee that your entire associate degree will transfer and apply to the Â鶹¹ÙÍø bachelor's degree. Lackawanna C students will transfer a minimum of 60 credits toward the Â鶹¹ÙÍø bachelor's degree, enter Â鶹¹ÙÍø at the junior status, and be permitted to enter advanced coursework in the Â鶹¹ÙÍø bachelor's degree program. Each agreement applies to the student who graduates with the designated associate degree.
- Communication Arts (AAR) to Communication Studies (BA)
- Criminal Justice Police (ASC) to Criminal justice (BS)
- Early Childhood Education (ASC) to Early Childhood Education PreK to 4 (BS)
