Are you an Â鶹¹ÙÍø Legacy Family?

If a close member of your family (such as a child, parent, sibling, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, or grandparent) attended Â鶹¹ÙÍø, and you are either a current student or an alumnus/a of Â鶹¹ÙÍø, then you are invited to the Annual Legacy Family Pinning Ceremony with President Kenneth Long.

Families and their student(s) will receive a special pin inducting them into the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Legacy Program and have a photo taken with the President.

Join us during Family Weekend 2026 Saturday, September 11-12, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Rosenkrans.

We are honored to celebrate families with a multi-generational tradition of attending Â鶹¹ÙÍø!

First-Generation (GenOne) Family Pinning

Are you a first-generation student at Â鶹¹ÙÍø? If you're the first in your family to go to college, we'd love for you and your family to join us for our Family Weekend programs, including our exclusive GenOne Family Pinning Ceremony & Mixer!

This event is all about celebrating you and your family's incredible achievement. The intimate pinning ceremony will recognize our first-generation students and honor the support of their families. It will be held in the Hoeffner Science and Technology Center Auditorium (Rm 117) and will begin promptly at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 12.

Afterward, you're invited to a mixer where families can connect with each other and meet Â鶹¹ÙÍø faculty and staff who were also first-generation students. It's a great opportunity to build a strong support system that will help you thrive and feel connected at Â鶹¹ÙÍø.

by Wednesday, September 9 at 11:45 p.m.

And this is the one for the Legacy Family Pinning Ceremony:

If a close member of your family (such as a child, parent, sibling, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, or grandparent) attended Â鶹¹ÙÍø, and you are either a current student or an alumnus/a of Â鶹¹ÙÍø, then you are invited to the Annual Legacy Family Pinning Ceremony.
