The University is involved in different organizations in the area including the Monroe County Veterans Affairs Office and A’s for Vets.

Monroe County Veterans Affairs

The is located at 1 Quaker Plaza Suite 101 in Stroudsburg, PA.  Upon walking in you may be greeted by an Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø work study student, director Lisa Kaye, or deputy director Jesiah Schrader. They offer various services and programs to Veterans including assistance with the Education Gratuity Grant, Federal health care benefits and survivor benefits.

Academics for Veterans

(A’s for Vets) is an alliance formed by the (LVMAC) which consists of Institutions of Higher Learning in the Lehigh Valley. The alliance consists of 12 institutions. Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø is part of this group because of our off site locations in the Lehigh Valley area. The vision is to help Veterans obtained meaningful employment. The LVMAC offers various scholarship to military affiliated students in the area.

Veterans of Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø

is a student based club consisting of current students who are military affiliated or who are interested in interacting with students who are in the military. The club is a chapter of (SVA), whose mission is to provide resources, network support and advocacy to, through and beyond higher education. The club meets every other week in the Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Student Veteran Center and hosts various events through the year. We are looking forward to you being part of this club.
